10.2 MW Agrivoltaic Solar Project with Tracker Technology

    Description

    L#20261189

The Project has a grid injection capacity of 10.2 MW and a current design of c. 12.7 MWp, using bifacial modules on single-axis trackers combined with continued agricultural use of the land.

The Project is being authorised through the Simplified Authorisation Procedure (PAS) at municipal level: the application was filed with the municipal One-Stop Shop (SUAP) in July 2026 and the supplementary town-planning documentation requested by the municipality was submitted in September 2026. The grid connection solution issued by Terna provides for a 150 kV antenna connection to a new switching substation of the national transmission grid. The opportunity suits IPPs, infrastructure and energy-transition funds and industrial investors seeking a mid-size, advanced-stage Italian solar asset.

    INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS

    • Efficient permitting route: PAS is a simplified municipal procedure; the SUAP receipt (August 2026) sets a 30-day term after which silence of the competent administration is equivalent to approval. The supplementary documentation requested in September 2026 has already been filed.
    • Direct HV grid access: Terna connection solution (STMG) with a 150 kV underground cable in antenna to a new 150 kV RTN switching substation, inserted in-out on an existing 150 kV line; dedicated 30/150 kV user substation within the site.
    • High-yield technology: single-axis E-W trackers with 650 Wp bifacial N-type modules and SMA central inverters, in one of Italy’s stronger solar-resource regions.
    • Secured, simple land base: the plant sits on a single cadastral parcel with one owner, under a preliminary purchase agreement; the cable route crosses only a few private parcels (easements) and farm roads, with modest estimated compensation.
    • Mature engineering: electrical design report with cable sizing and electromagnetic-field assessment (March 2026), detailed expropriation/easement parcel plan (July 2026) and a full PAS design package (landscape, constraints and planning studies).
    • Supportive market: Italy’s National Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC) targets c. 80 GW of installed solar PV by 2030; agrivoltaic layouts are favoured by Italian energy and land-use policy.

Permitting route Simplified Authorisation Procedure (PAS) – municipal SUAP/SUE
Incentives Route to market through merchant sales and/or PPA (eligibility for support schemes to be assessed by the buyer)

    DEVELOPMENT STATUS & MILESTONES

March 2026 Electrical design and electromagnetic-field report completed
July 2026 PAS application filed with the municipal One-Stop Shop (SUAP); parcel plan issued
August 2026 SUAP receipt issued (30-day term for silent consent)
September 2026 Municipality requests re-filing of the town-planning documents on its building portal (SUE) within 60 days; supplementary documentation submitted on 11 September 2026

Note: the outcome of the PAS procedure and the status of the grid connection solution (acceptance and validity) will be confirmed in the data room.

    INDICATIVE ECONOMICS

Illustrative specific yield c. 1,750–1,850 kWh/kWp (single-axis trackers with bifacial modules in Central Italy)
Illustrative annual production c. 22–23.5 GWh (year 1)
