profile

Milton Barbarosh is a financial consultant, entrepreneur, and business valuation expert with a career spanning several decades, primarily focused on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance.

Barbarosh began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at the accounting firm of KPMG in Montreal, where he gained experience in auditing, tax, and bankruptcy. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in International Economics and Finance from York University. Following his postgraduate studies, he joined Ernst & Young, where he was instrumental in establishing the firm’s mergers & acquisitions (M&A) department. He later obtained certification as a Chartered Business Valuator.

His career continued to progress at the Royal Bank of Canada, where he co-headed the mergers and acquisitions group in Toronto. In 1986, he relocated to Boca Raton, Florida, to take on the role of CEO for a group of companies owned by a prominent family. This group included a New York Stock Exchange member securities firm and a real estate business. Barbarosh successfully executed a turnaround of these companies over three and a half years.

In 1989, Barbarosh founded his own firm, the Stenton Leigh Group, which provided business valuation services. His work in this field earned him recognition, including a Price Waterhouse “Up & Comers” award in 1994 for his work in banking and community development.

He specializes in a range of financial services, including merchant banking, mergers and acquisitions advisory, corporate finance, and business valuations. Barbarosh continues to act as a principal and intermediary in both domestic and international transactions through this company and his family office, Croft Investments Limited Partnership.

In addition to his work, Barbarosh maintains several professional certifications, including CPA/ABV, ASA, and CGMA. He has served on the boards of non-profit organizations and supports various charitable causes through his family foundation, including Johns Hopkins Medical Center and Apraxia Kids.
