Uruguayan-Argentinian and raised in Italy from the age of five, Gaston is a multilingual finance professional whose expertise spans corporate finance, M&A, investment advisory, capital allocation, and wealth management. His international trajectory bridges Latin America and Southern Europe, providing him with a natural understanding of entrepreneurs, family-owned enterprises, and the dynamics that shape multi-generational wealth. Native in Spanish and Italian and fluent in English and French, he couples global investment execution with deep cultural fluency across international markets.
He began his career at PwC in Deals Advisory, working across M&A advisory, company valuations, and financial due diligence. In this capacity, he advised private equity funds, institutional investors, and holding companies on cross-border transactions across diverse industries, developing a sharp understanding of how investors assess enterprise value, underwrite risk, and establish investment conviction.
Transitioning from advisory to principal investing, Gaston joined the investment team at DKSH, a Swiss-listed, family-backed holding group. There, he has focused on capital allocation and direct private equity investments across Europe, Latin America, and APAC—managing the full deal lifecycle from origination, financial modeling, and diligence through to deal structuring, negotiation, and closing.
Having operated on both sides of the table, Gaston applies an investor’s lens to sell-side mandates. He recognizes how prospective buyers evaluate potential value gaps and the levers that drive pricing power. This insight enables him to guide founders through transaction readiness, anticipate critical negotiation dynamics, and run competitive processes designed to maximize exit value.
Beyond transactions, his expertise extends to strategic asset allocation, private markets, and multi-asset portfolio advisory. This enables him to support founders across their entire wealth cycle—from scaling and monetizing an operating company to preserving, diversifying, and structuring the resulting capital post-liquidity.
His academic credentials include an MSc in Finance from Università Cattolica (Milan), an Executive Master in Corporate Finance from LUISS Business School (Rome), a CAS in Wealth Management from Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano), and an exchange term at Emlyon Business School (Lyon), alongside his pursuit of the CFA charter.
