Guzal’s career is marked by a steady progression of leadership roles within prominent financial institutions. Before joining Proxima Capital Group, she served as a Vice President at a Private Equity Fund from October 2022 to January 2025, where she was instrumental in managing the fund’s investment portfolio.

Her most significant tenure was at Bank Otkritie Financial Corporation, where she spent over nine years in various key positions. From September 2013 to October 2022, she held the role of Vice President of Corporate Finance, where her responsibilities were broad and impactful, including M&A, private equity portfolio management, and strategy consulting.
