The preliminary project focuses on the establishment of a photovoltaic system with a nominal capacity of 2,334.28 kWp, located within the Municipality of Santa Maria la Fossa (CE), Italy.
System Design and Specifications
The photovoltaic panels will be installed utilizing a tracking system, occupying an area of 10,720 m² within a total project area of 38,876 m². This results in a land usage of 27.76%, which is compliant with the permissible percentage for industrial zones.
The primary objective of this photovoltaic system is to generate electrical energy to be fed into the medium-voltage alternating current distribution grid.
System Configuration
The photovoltaic generator will be segmented into two sub-fields, each corresponding to one inverter.
The inverter rooms will be strategically positioned to optimize proximity to the photovoltaic field, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance.
Equipment Specifications
Each inverter room will be constructed as a prefabricated SMA monoblock unit, containing the following equipment:
Additionally, a 0.6/20 kV 1250 kVA step-up transformer will be installed in a concrete enclosure adjacent to the inverter cabin. This transformer will be supplied by ABB and will include the necessary incoming devices from the medium-voltage cabin, along with protection, sectioning, and earthing devices as required on-site.
This initiative represents a significant advancement in renewable energy infrastructure within the region, aligning with both corporate sustainability goals and local regulatory standards.
The fee for the granting of surface rights for the specified area is set at €538,524.00. When this total is distributed over a period of 40 years, it results in annual installments of €3,500.
