This hydro power plant produce energy for local families and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 680 tons per year.
To date, all the infrastructure required for the hydro power plant has been built – roads, power lines, bridges.
Kazakhstan could provide itself completely with self-produced energy. The total production of all electric energy producing facilities is 101 bn kWh, which is 107% of the countries own usage. Despite this, Kazakhstan is trading energy with foreign countries. Along with pure consumptions the production, imports and exports play an important role.
