An ambitious and detail-oriented finance graduate with a solid educational background and diverse professional experience.
Irene holds an M.Sc. in Investment Banking from Queen Mary University of London, where she attended courses such as Asset Management, M&A, Valuation, and Financial Modelling. She earned an LLB from Birkbeck, University of London, and a B.A. in Marketing Management from Queen Margaret University in Athens.
During her M.Sc., she co-wrote articles for London Politica, the world’s largest pro bono political risk advisory, regarding China’s Belt & Road trillion-dollar investment programme and cobalt mining in Congo.
She started her career as a paralegal during her LLB, where she performed legal research, drafted documentation, and managed administrative duties, culminating in a Training Contract offer. She then gained experience in maritime management as a claims handler, where she managed claims, conducted operational tasks for a fleet of bulk carrier vessels, and ensured compliance with shipping documents.
Concluding that she wanted to pursue a career in finance, she undertook an internship where she arranged NDAs, liaised with management to identify growth opportunities, conducted research to assess strengths and future revenue potential, and developed strategic presentations. Her comprehensive experience showcases her ability to adapt and excel in different professional environments.
Irene is a member of City Investment Solutions and day trades using the London Breakout Strategy. Lastly, she co-founded the first power bank charging station company in Greece.
