Beyond her academic achievements, Joanna has actively sought out opportunities to apply her knowledge and gain real-world experience. She has held internships at Golden Door Asset Management and Lionchase North America, where she contributed to investment analysis and private equity research.
At Golden Door Asset Management, Joanna worked as an Investment Analyst Intern, where she conducted financial research on companies such as HPE and Juniper Networks. Her responsibilities included analyzing revenue trends, business history, and sector developments to inform investment decisions. She also participated in meetings with investment professionals, gaining valuable insights into market dynamics, potential risks, and opportunities. Joanna collaborated with fellow interns to produce a research document that analyzed financial performance and market conditions. This experience honed her research skills and deepened her understanding of the factors that drive investment strategies.
During her time as a Private Equity Analyst Intern at Lionchase North America, Joanna further developed her analytical and financial modeling abilities. She prepared executive summaries and PowerPoint presentations by analyzing fund memorandums, researching market trends, and evaluating investment strategies. She also collaborated with other interns to create a value-added financial model for a real estate fund, projecting rental and interest income.
